Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy.
Crazy.
I’ve just finished the third draft of The Situation with Phillip, and that’s just all crazy, nothing else but crazy. A different way to say that is this: I just finished reading a book I wrote for the second time. Freaking nuts.
I knew the ending this time, the ultimate thing, but I couldn’t recall just how it came about, so the suspense of the last ten pages wasn’t lost.
That’s all good. What isn’t good is that I’m not sure of my ending yet. I mean, it’s an ending and it works well enough, but I think there might be something better to come.
We’ll begin finding out tomorrow. I’ll query it out this evening, and start the fourth draft in the morning.
Right now, however, I’m heading for the recliner.
