You know what they say, wish in one hand and shit in the other, then see which one fills up first. Sorry for the blue language, but saying “crap” there just doesn’t have the same ooomph.
The bottom line is that I’m getting what I wished for, in that my efforts of the last seven months are helping me to grow my writing career, but now that that’s happening I don’t have enough time to devote to the things that helped me to get there and the work that comes with it. It’s no surprise to anyone who has been following this website for any length of time that I don’t have the time to devote to it that I once had. With the word having reached as many people as it had, it doesn’t need the attention–two posts a day, three on some–that I once gave it, but I’d still like to get at least one post of new writing every week day. I’m having to come to terms with the fact that that’s not going to happen.
Still, I’m going to try to be posting something worth your time every day, but some days it might be something from the Internet or social media world, which was the case with the Warrior Business Minutes video I posted yesterday. I highly recommend those for everyone, by the way.
Just know that, even when I don’t have the time to bring new words, what I will be posting will be done with that same bottom line goal in mind, that it is something that will somehow make your world a better place. I’m hoping that, as I get more familiar with the aspects of my new writing assignments, time will be freer to devote to creative writing, but history has shown me that that might not be the case.
So, whether it’s my words or something from someone else, if you see a post, it will be something that I think you might have the chance to use.
You’re always in my thoughts and prayers, friends, and I hope life’s blessings straight up bowl you over today. I’ll see you back here sometime soon.
Hi PA! its great to know that your writing career is taking a shape after your 6-7 months efforts-I congratulate you for this achievement. As regards your worry for time constraints,it is just in your mind.If you decide to do what you want,no one can stop you-even your busy schedule. All you need is to priortise your work, allocate time for your each work and just do it in that time slot. Its all about better time management. You can write your post every alternate day, as i do, instead of writing post every day.
Pl give a thought to my suggestion and it will surely work out for you as it works for the President of US.
You’re right, Ravi, and I’m already beginning to make some realizations that I didn’t make during the first two weeks. YOU, however, do not just post every other day; you post five articles a week, do you not?
